Job Description

Market Data Vendor Management, Senior Analyst Location: LondonSummary: My client is an organisation in the Financial services sector focusing on innovation and transformation. They specialise across equity, fixed income, and private markets and multi asset strategies. The role will be supporting the business unit to their use of market data application and investment related data. Hybrid working patterns. Be partof the team with constant learning, equality, and great opportunity!The role: The purpose of this role is to manage relationship with external vendor providing data which also includes to manage the contract negotiations of the business.Responsibilities:

  • Managing the end to end of all contract negotiations, renewal and cost approvals
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong market data experiences with at least 5 years of experiences in the Financial sector
  • Expert in managing vendor relationships in FS
  • Strong analytic skill in analysing vendor proposals and negotiate t&c of business
  • Manage all admin support related to market data operations
  • Strong Market data experiences in application is an advantage (eg : Bloomberg, FactSet, Reuters, Thomson products, etc
  • Responsible for relationships with all data providers
What you need to succeed:
  • Strong knowledge in market data applications such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P
  • Strong market data experiences in the Financial services industry with at least 4 + years in the related sector
  • Having a broad mindset with high agility work ethics
  • People skills with the ability to motivate and influence others with strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of data requirements and systems used by Investment Management professionals
  • Experience within the investment management process and experience working directly with investment professionals
  • Able to manage stakeholders with strong communication/interpersonal skills with building key relationships
  • Relationship management skills and contract negotiation experience
  • Curious, willing to learn and a team player with motivation to succeed
