Job Description

  • Daily market data validation & reporting, defined by the Market Data Replacement & Proxy Policy
  • Maintaining market data proxy models and generating proxied histories where required
  • Understanding the flow of market data for MRM and its transformations.
  • Work with different teams within the department and liaise with the front office.
  • Conducting analysis on large data sets, processes and technology systems
Qualification/Education Essential:
  • An undergraduate degree in mathematics, computer science, natural science, engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of a 2:1 equivalent degree
Desirable:
  • Professional qualification (e.g., PRM, FRM)
Experience/KnowledgeEssential:
  • At least 2 years experience in Market Risk Management or Product Control function.
  • Analytical skills
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of market data or financial services is a plus
  • Knowledge of risk management, including VaR, greeks, and FRTB
  • Advanced Excel, programming (Java/Python), SQL and/or data experience
  • Previous data science experience within a quantitative role
  • Experience with Market Data APIs (e.g. Refinitiv RFA/UPA/Elektron APIs) is useful
  • Experience with systems such as Summit, Murex, Bloomberg, Markit, Reuters, ActivePivot.
