Manual QA Engineer (JavaScript/AWS) - London£60k + remote workingMy client, an award-winning Media Agency, is looking for a Mid-level QA Engineer to join their fantastic team (currently remote working until we return to the new normal, there after limited travel to London).They are looking for candidates with experience carrying out manual testing using a variety of tools, experience working as an advocate for quality and have experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services. We are looking for someone willing to learn automation as part of their development.What will the role involveYoull be working with an established development team on business-critical, customer-facing technologies. Youll be responsible for carrying out manual testing for all new features developed by the team.Youll be an advocate for quality in all aspects of the SDLC and be involved in defining the acceptance criteria for new features and responsible for ensuring features built adhere to that criteria.Youll be responsible for prioritising your own work and will be expected to share your work progress and feedback with others.The Ideal CandidateIdeally, youll have ISTQB/ISEB Foundation certifications or equivalent certifications as a minimum and be comfortable discussing technical aspects of projects with other testers, developers & business owners.We are looking for people who are inquisitive, proactive and keen to be challenged, care deeply about the code they test and are able to bridge the gap between the technical and the business areas of the company effectively.
