This position interfaces with leaders of our key suppliers to ensure quality, performance, collaboration, and cost containment through internal/external governance. Youwill also treat internal business leaders as customers and provide visibility into costs associated to delivering workplace technologynamely voice and data costs that impact their P&L.You will be responsible for providing daily oversight, direction and support to a team of analysts that manage the end to end life cycle of workplace expense costs, including but not limited to voice and data. The life cycle includes invoice receipt, validation,disputes, and approval for the accounts payable team to make the payment. The team also performs month end analysis on the cost including accruals, journal entries, variance analysis and presentation of the results. The team is also responsible for orderingnew services, coordinating and overseeing delivery of new services, cancellation of existing services, coordinating and overseeing the decommissioning of existing services and change ordersResponsibilities

  • Provide management and oversight for the Telecom Expense Management function to promote standardization, controls, and efficiencies for optimizing our telecom expenses and operations.
  • Interface with Senior leaders and our key suppliers to ensure quality, performance, collaboration, and cost containment through internal/external governance.
  • Develop cross functional relationships with vendor and internal stakeholders, which includes business and procurement teams, and act as an escalation point to promote vendor accountability, remove dependencies, and build standardization.
  • Manage and drive to resolution outstanding NexTEM or workplace expense and billing disputes
  • Track and ensure accuracy of circuit data in the circuit inventory management system
  • Monitor, record, analyze, and report activity trends and results. Report on trending analysis and metrics relevant to the successful functioning of network and telephony systems based on business strategy and growth projections
  • Develop monthly reports of spend, tracking new services, ceased services, savings from service disconnects, savings from billing disputes and generate other budgeting reports as requested
Experience
  • Must have extensive experience negotiating and managing complex contract lifecycles, managing vendor relationships, and managing telecom expenses, including working with global technology vendors.
  • Ability to understand and interpret Interconnection Agreements, Tariff documents, and contracts.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Possess good communication and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrate expertise with analysis of payment conditions, contracts, and documents.
  • Deep market knowledge of IT products, services (hardware and software), and current trends.
  • Firm understanding of telecommunications industry, including vocabulary and concepts
  • Proven ability to drive outstanding employee performance and engagement through developing, coaching, motivating, energizing, and inspiring team members.
  • AP Transactional Function and Accounting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of NexTEM (telecom expense management system) preferred

  • Ability to travel 15% of the time.
