Job Description Summary:Job Description Summary: At Grant Thornton, we are ambitious about expanding our Payments risk and security management practice. With investment secured, we continue to build our London based practice and anticipate continued growth throughout the next five years. We need excellent people, to join us and to be part of our exciting growth strategy. The role will be working in the Cyber and Payments security management team within Grant Thorntons Business Risk Services department. The ideal candidate will come from a Payments/ Financial Services background with experience in PSD2 and Open Banking, Card schemes, BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT, Faster Payments. Is actively involved in client meetings, concisely and confidently answering client queries. Provides intelligent and creative solutions to client tax issues both reactively and proactively. .

  • Scoping, execution and delivery of payments risk and security reviews.
  • Delivering technical advice or audits of payment service security and risk management for PSD2 and Open Banking, Fraud, Card schemes, BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT, and Faster Payments.
  • Managing client engagements from initiation to closure ensuring on-time delivery to expected quality
    • Experience and attributes for success
  • Proven technical experience reviewing/deploying PSD2, payments and fraud management infrastructure in the corporate, financial or public sector
  • Proven ability to identify and assess regulatory and complex payments and security risks and controls, relate them to the wider business environment and communicate opinions clearly.
  • Technical and regulatory understanding of a wide range of payments infrastructure and processing frameworks
