Job Description

Profile Criteria:

  1. Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) candidate with solid post-qualification work experience, preferably from the investment management or financial services sector
  2. Solid experience preparing and reviewing management accounts, creating automation and streamlining processes, building forecasts and budget (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.), team management and development, with the ability and experience of focusingnot only on P&L items but also forecast/budget of assets and liabilities, regulatory capital requirement, cash requirement, FX exposure, tax, etc.
  3. Excellent communication skills and a social personality.
Responsibilities and Coverage:
  1. Monthly management accounts & reporting: monthly preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow, including tracking/reforecasting of costs and providing insights and commentary on key drivers of movements. Development and preparation ofvarious KPI reports (e.g. foreign currency exposure analysis, regulatory capital forecast, liquidity forecast and cost monitoring)
  2. Cost monitoring & control: overall responsibility for managing costs, working closely with budget holders to drive efficiencies and obtain value for money. Development and maintenance of policies, procedures, reporting and tools to monitorcosts effectively.
  3. Annual budgets & forecasting: production of the annual budget for all entities and consolidated group budget, to include working with budget holders to prepare bottom-up cost forecasts and the Business Performance & Analysis team for inputson revenue and mandate resourcing. This will include preparation of financial information and key metrics including forecast income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, NAV and EPS.
  4. Foreign currency hedging: foreign currency cash flow forecast, assessment of FX exposure and management of FX forward contracts.
  5. Finance systems: management of core finance systems (Accounts Payable, Expense Claims and Accounting Ledger systems), developing best practices and providing training to users, management of system maintenance, upgrades or replacement ifrequired
  6. Oversight of Accounts Payable function: overseeing Accounts Payable function, ensuring that key deliverables are achieved
  7. Team management: management of a team of 3 people
