Management Accountant, Mid Sized Business, Entrepreneurial & Commercially Aware. My client is a mid sized Travel Agency wanting high level help to board level with a part time management account, whom can organise, optimise and reconstruct their accounting processes and best practice.Although pre corona it was a mid sized business, it now operate more like a small business when it comes to management so it is therefore extremely versatile, commercially fast paced and the board are results focused.This role would suit a person who is at the top of their game, is going to be able to compete for the trust of the board whom are very comfortable with numbers and strategies of a business, who have worked with large accounting firms and finance specialists.You would need to come in and report to the MD and high level management, and get management information to the decision makers, and look to help cut costs and make things efficient as possible.The board believe this would start as a part time / fixed contract type of role and the client is flexible, they believe in starting small possibly on a day a week and grow from there.If you have knowledge and expereince of Travel & Leisure this should work as an advatnage including all and any regulatory knowledge of the industry.My client wants numbers, macro and micro, and commercially astute voices around them to navigate their decisions.They use a variety of in house systems, sage L50, have a book keeper, external auditors and external trade accountants.
