Job Description

Job title - Management Accountant (Finalist/Newly Qualified)Salary - £40,000 to £50,000 per annumBenefits - Benefits package including pension, 25 days holiday and moreLocation - City of LondonThe Company - EslingKenny are currently working with a leading property developer in London who have won numerous awards and are listed on the London stock exchange. They are looking to strengthen their company with the appointment of aManagement who wants to work closely with a growing team and develop.This established business is looking for an individual who wants to get stuck in, work closely with the Head of Finance and has the relevant experience needed to succeed in this position.Responsibilities:

  • To co-ordinate the production of the monthly Board packs
  • To prepare weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports - highlighting, investigating and reporting on variances
  • To forecast month end cash accurately and report to the FC with comments on any movements in the month and large movements forecasted
  • Reviewing debtors and bespoke reconciliations
  • To assist with the preparation of the annual budget
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial and regulatory information for internal and external audit purposes
  • To assist with the co-ordination and preparation of the Divisional budgets
  • To undertake other projects and analysis on an ad hoc basis
  • Assist with the implementation of the new accounting computer system
  • Assist with the review of internal control processes and tax and regulatory compliance
  • Assisting with the management of the central accounts payable function
Candidate profile:
  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA Finalist or newly qualified
  • Strong Excel and IT skills are essential
  • At least 3 years experience working within in a finance function
  • Team player, willing to learn and get involved with a wide range of tasks
  • Ability to work on own initiative and generate solutions
