Job Description

The company:We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join an award winning International communications company, based in central London.Reporting to the Financial Controller and Finance Director, the Management Accountant role will be responsible for the financial reporting of various European entities.The job:

  • Ownership of P&Ls for multiple UK and European entities, ensuring accuracy of reporting and meaningful variance analysis and commentary
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage month end processes
  • Preparation of monthly management reporting adhering to month end deadlines
  • Month-end close processes providing appropriate level review, analyses and reconciliation
  • Communication of financial performance to division leads
  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Revenue reporting and recognition
  • Tax and VAT reporting.
  • Identifying potential process efficiencies & contribute towards a high standard, continuous improvement culture
    • The person:
  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Proactive and results oriented, able to work under own initiative and complete tasks to deadline
  • Ideally at least 2+ years experience at a qualified Management Accountant level
  • Experience of MACONOMY is highly desirable
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and office applications (Pivots and logic formula)
  • Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections in a clear and insightful manner to non-finance as well as finance users
  • Experience working in the media sector or a multi-national company is preferred
