Job Description

Job Opportunity: Management AccountantSalary £50 K2-3 years’ experience minimumQualified by experience is essential.Looking for Immediate start - ASAPWe are currently seeking a talented Management Accountant to join a dynamic team. Our company is a 100% independently owned international music merchandise business based in London. Entirely self-funded, we offer a range of services including Creative & Design,Production and Fulfilment (Global), E-Commerce and distribution of apparel, memorabilia, vinyl & CD’s, bespoke white label E-Commerce services, and Global tour support.About the Role:As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our finance team, managing financial transactions, preparing statements, and ensuring reporting accuracy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company that has experienced strong growthover the last 4-5 years and continues on an upward trajectory.Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze financial information for internal use.
  • Support budgeting and reporting activities.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Process financial transactions efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
  • Evaluate company performance and provide insights.
  • Assist in forecasting and business planning.
  • Identify process challenges and propose improvements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent understanding of cost accounting and reporting.
  • Familiarity with financial software such as Excel and Xero or other accountancy platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to work independently.
  • Relevant experience and qualifications preferred.
