Job Description

Job Description About the Company:Vision RT is a fast-growing MedTech company revolutionizing radiation therapy. We are the inventors of Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT), a technology that uses 3D cameras to make radiation therapy safer, more accurate and more comfortable for patients.Our systems are used inall 15of US News & World Reports’ top 15 "Best Hospitals for Cancer."Company video:https://youtu.be/ci5BrRrp4h0With around 300 employees globally, and offices in the UK, Poland & US, we operate autonomously as part of the Danish company Demant A/S, one of the largest healthcare companies in the world.Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the monthly Management Accounts for four subsidiaries. We currently have subsidiaries based in the UK, USA, Germany, China, Australia, Poland, and India.
  • Carrying out month-end tasks such as revenue recognition, cost of sales workings, accruals, prepayments, and maintenance of the fixed asset register.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Debtor, creditor, and bank revaluations.
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Commission Calculations
  • Carrying out project work such as improving files, systems, and processes.
  • Responsible for VAT/GST Returns including any other Monthly/Quarterly local tax returns and ensure deadlines are always met
  • Work with the local accountants/advisors to ensure the subsidiaries’ account balances are aligned with ours
  • Responsible for any other applicable returns in the Subsidiaries as and when required
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of the Statutory Accounts in the Subsidiary countries
  • Assist with Year-End duties and annual audit
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required by the Finance Manager/Group Financial Controller and Finance Director.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • 3 Years’ experience working as a Management Accountant, with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • 3 years’ experience working at a similar level in finance
  • Qualified Accountant or Finalist with only a few papers to complete
  • Good Academics
  • Month End Experience including Prepayments, Accruals, Revenue Recognition
  • Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail
  • Good Excel skills including Vlookups, Pivot tables and Sumifs
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
  • Able to work independently and take the initiative in solving problems
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting payable principles, including a good knowledge of VAT
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Desirable skills & experience
  • Experience using Sage 200
  • Experience using Paperless
  • Experience using WebExpenses
  • International Experience
