Your Company:A highly successful financial services business is searching the market for an ambitious and vivacious Management Accountant to join their team. The business operates remotely; thus this role will also be remote, with the expectation of a couple of days travela year for business events. This highly immersive business has grown significantly over the past few years, due to having successful developed and delivered excellent services to their clientele.This will be an exciting and important role within the business to support the businesses clients with not only their core management accounting but also with wider bookkeeping duties, thus being a central point of call for their needs. The ideal person forthis position will be bursting with enthusiasm and will have a drive to fully support clients and provide the best service possible, while also being highly motivated to advance their own career and skill set - something that is more than doable within thisposition and business.Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:* Making and developing new and existing working relationships with clients to support them in their finance operations, whilst answering and addressing any queries they may have* Proactively ensuring that all client accounts in the portfolio are kept updated with financial information so that clients always have transparency on their financial standing, in order to support their commercial decision making* Handling management journals, including prepayments, accruals and depreciation, taking care to ensure the highest level of accuracy* Preparing the management accounts for businesses and contributing towards the monthly running and management reports* Completing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing these once done* Supporting clients with matters relating to VAT returns, assisting with documentation and information to meet deadlines* Keeping and handling financial information using online cloud software and standard accounting toolsWhat You Will Need To Apply:To be considered for this role, applicants should be working towards or be fully AAT qualified, and any additional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA would be beneficial. In addition, applicants will have good comparable experience, handling management accountsand wider accounting and bookkeeping duties, gained from either within a practice or industry environment. Skills that the business will be keen to see displayed in applicants, would be excellent communication skills, a good aptitude for accounting systems,specifically Xero and related applications and other IT software, such as Excel, alongside fantastic time management abilities as well. Above all, the team really value employees with a good attitude and a desire to make a positive difference within theirclients lives.What You Will Get In Return:The successful candidate for this role will be entitled to a starting salary of up to £35,000.
