Job Description

One Ten Associates are excited to be partnering with a dynamic, progressive and sustainable Investment Manager. The role will afford you the opportunity to carry out the day to day accounting tasks whilst having a dotted line to CFO and generally havingan impact throughout the whole business.Its an entrepreneurial environment and would suit someone thats familiar with growing businesses and having a hands on, get involved approach.Key tasks will involve but are not limited to:

  • Updating and maintaining the Cash Book
  • Accounts payable
  • Assisting with the management accounts
  • Maintenance of management accounts
  • Fixed Assets register maintenance
  • Logging cash payments onto the banking platform
  • Prepayment and accrual journals
  • MI analysis and reporting
  • Assistance with the preparation of statutory financial statements and their audit
  • Managing ad-hoc projects as required
  • Providing general assistance to the HR function
  • Providing general office and facilities assistance
Required skills and experience:
  • First class academic background
  • Previous experience 5-10 years as a financial accountant, preferably in financial services, essential.
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial team player attitude who takes ownership of tasks and is highly organised
  • Energy, enthusiasm and passion for the role and for improving processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key employees, senior management and work across departments
  • Knowledge of Quick-books / SAGE
  • Determined and hard working
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
