Ref 003409Job Title: Major Donor ManagerLocation: London, SE1 1DB (Flexible working available - a minimum of two days working in the London office, currently Mondays and Wednesdays)Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annumWe are recruiting for a Major Donor Manager to join our team at the company, an Anglican mission agency that partners with churches and communities worldwide in Gods mission to enliven faith, strengthen relationships, unlock potential, and champion justice.As the Major Donor Manager, you will report to the Senior Fundraising Manager and work within our Communications, Engagement, and Fundraising team. Your role will involve identifying, approaching, and cultivating relationships with key individuals who havethe potential to make major contributions to our work.Responsibilities include developing plans that align with our fundraising strategy to increase engagement from high net worth individuals, managing major donor income and expenditure budgets, securing high-value gifts, and hosting meetings, presentations,and special events to network with donors and cultivate new relationships.We offer a competitive package, including an 8% employer pension contribution, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and additional leave during the Christmas week), and a Season Ticket Loan. We also provide flexible working arrangements, allowing youto work remotely for a minimum of two days per week.We are looking for a confident and passionate fundraiser and relationship manager with a proven ability to motivate and inspire others to contribute. You should have experience in implementing fundraising plans, developing high-value donor pipelines, andsecuring significant gifts ranging from five to six figures.A proactive and self-sufficient approach is crucial, as you will be comfortable working alone or as part of a team. This role requires a hands-on approach, including tasks such as writing proposals, managing events, and researching prospective donors. Excellentcommunication skills are essential, with the ability to adapt your style for different audiences.You should be highly personable, engaging supporters and stakeholders with diplomacy and persuasiveness. Strong writing skills are expected, and you will collaborate closely with senior leadership, trustees, and influencers to unlock peer connections andleverage new support.
