Job Description

Maintenance Technician (Carpentry / Plumbing / Electrical / Machinery Repair)Location: London Salary: £28k - £32k + Excellent BenefitsJob Type: Full Time, Permanent, 40 hours per weekOur client, a leading creative manufacturing company specialising in high-end luxury goods for interiors, They are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to support their manufacturing workshop facilities and retail spaces in day-to-day maintenance and upkeep.The Role:You will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, proactive inspections, equipment monitoring, and emergency light/fire alarm inspections. Your role involves relocation, installation, and care of artworks, furniture, and lighting.Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance for company studios, galleries, workshops, and machinery to maintain a polished and professional appearance.
  • Conduct proactive inspections, address necessary repairs
  • Ensure operational equipment, including emergency lights and fire alarms.
  • Undertake health and safety risk assessments, following safety protocols and related method statements.
  • Assist in relocating and installing artworks, furniture, lighting, and materials to support production and installation schedules.
  • Manage vehicle responsibilities, including company vehicle maintenance
  • Fulfilling delivery and collection duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of 7-10 years working as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
  • Versatile maintenance skills: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and decoration
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving ability
  • BTEC certificate (Desirable)
  • Full Clean UK Driving License
