An exciting new Maintenance Administrator role is available with a charitable organisation covering the Dulwich area.The role will be working alongside the Building Surveyor, as part of a team, to provide a professional building surveying service to The Dulwich Estate. The main element to this role is ensuring high levels of customer service to the local area residentsThis is a contract position a minimum of 1 yearMonday to Friday 9am to 5pmIMMEDIATE STARTPaying up to £30k (DOE)Key Duties:You will be the first point of call for all building maintenance and repair calls coming into the Estate via phone, email, and occasionally in person (when office is open to visitors);Triage the building maintenance calls to either pass on to the correct building surveyor or handle directly;Keep customers / residents / tenants updated with progress on on-going works and repairs;Raise orders for minor works (using MRI Qube Maintenance Management system), monitoring the works and approving invoices on completion;Obtain estimates, analyse tenders and prepare tender reports (using Word and Excel);Administer and monitor works in progress and certify payments to contractors;Administer maintenance contracts which include central heating, entryphone systems, electrical and gas testing;Establish relationships and build rapport with contractors and customers (internal and external)Assist and liaise with the Principal Building Surveyor and other colleagues within the Department;Close liaison with colleagues in the Estates DepartmentTo fully comply with all relevant legislation and in particular, Building Regulations and Health & Safety Regulations;Effective communication with colleagues, suppliers, lessees and tenants by telephone, email and other written correspondence;Maintenance of comprehensive digital records;Produce regular status and update reports to management;To carry out other duties as may be required from time to time by the Principal Building Surveyor or, in his absence, the Senior Building Surveyor.If you are interested please APPLY NOW or contact Sophie Requena at Berry Recruitments West Wickham branchPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a persons gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
