Job Description

MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER - Insurance Up to £75,000 + BENEFITSTHE COMPANYThis is a brilliant opportunity to work as an ML Engineer for an insurance company! They are looking to bring in talented individuals with strong engineering and deployment knowledge to work cross-functionally in the business.THE ROLEAs a Machine Learning Engineer working in the team you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Driving automation and efficiency for the Data Science team
  • Advising various teams on the most relevant model for each project
  • Working with GLMs, GBMs, pricing and predictive modelling
  • Reinforcing cloud base frameworks
Your Skills and ExperienceThe successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
  • Strong skills in Python, PySpark, Deployment/Engineering skills and Azure/AWS/GCP
  • Some understanding of GBMs, GLMs
  • Preferred experience in insurance
  • MSc or PhD from a strong university in a relevant field (Data Science, Computer Science, etc.)
