M&A Analyst Permanent Up to £55,000 + Bonus + BenefitsLondon | Full time in officeThis is a newly created opportunity to join a Global Oil company which is going through extensive growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced M&A Analyst to join the Global M&A team. Their mission is to conduct businessresponsibly, placing excellence, integrity and philanthropy at the heart of everything they do.Want to be part of the teamWorking closely with the Global Head of M&A. As the M&A Analyst you will be responsible for supporting acquisition opportunity identification and assessment and will be accountable for the execution and delivery of deals, as well as developing and runningthe financial models.This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Prepare key financial analysis for investment opportunities
  • Prepare investment committee presentations to support transaction decisions
  • Contribute to investment decisions, tactics and recommendations
  • Work closely with credit/treasury to structure and execute transaction financing
  • Liaise with all parties involved in transactions and support negotiations including management of due diligence advisors
  • Managing data requests, collation and interpretation
  • Construct, own and manage detailed DCF models to support deal valuation, sensitivities and funding
  • Carry out in depth-research of energy industry specifics
  • Assess and predict financial risks and returns
You will need:
  • A relevant University degree
  • At least 2 years experience in an M&A / Corporate Finance role
  • Strong financial modelling skills (including DCF, debt modelling, integrated financial statements)
  • Excellent project management skills
We would prefer:
  • An accounting or financial qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CFA qualified)
  • Oil and gas industry experience
