Job Description

Logistics Coordinator - £35k + 10%-15% Bonus - 12 Month FTCWe are proud to partner with a well-known FMCG Food brand who are on a mission to become the No.1 brand within their category of Fresh, Ambient and Frozen products. They are in search of a highly organised Logistics Coordinator with a keen eye for detailand experienced managing the sales order process from start to finish, ensuring OTIF. Following a hugely successful last 12 months and a growing collection of awards they are now embarking on the next phase of ambitious growth and business transformation.

What is expected of you
  • Manage the day-to-day Customer Order Processing for a range of Grocery Customers including Waitrose, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Tesco and Asda
  • Responsible for the management and development of all 3PL relationships including 4 UK 3PL warehouses and a range of different couriers
  • Maintain regular contact with external, European Contract manufacturers to ensure OTIF of finished goods are shipped to the UK.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to always ensure stock availability
  • Liaise with retail supply contacts externally to gather order information through EPOS and EDI ahead of time which can then be shared internally to enable OTIF metrics to be always hit.
  • Report internally to key stakeholders on all open and delivered orders on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders to improve customer / distributor relationships & performance.
  • Manage and support all customer needs including troubleshooting any supply chain issues that occur.
As a successful SME going through exceptional growth it is essential that the Demand Planner is a hugely proactive individual who will lead from the front and provide the following experience -
  • Proven experience within both B2B and B2C logistics within an FMCG business
  • Solid experience of managing and developing 3PL relationships for both warehousing and couriers
  • A track record of hitting and improving OTIF targets
  • Experience of Customer Order Processing within the FMCG industry
  • Stock and Inventory Management experience
  • Experience or knowledge of Import/Export procedures from the EU to UK
  • Hugely proactive individual who is not afraid to lead from the front
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience
