Logistics Coordinator ( Logistics Distributor)Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5:30pm SW11 £32,000We are a leading global distributor in Luxury eyewear. We offer our client base, which includes some of the leading retail chains worldwide, tailored-made solutions to provide the best products on the market, with the support of our warehouses in UK, Europe,Canada and USA.Our Culture:We are a small team of 4 working in a very fast-paced environment, performing a variety of tasks, often with new challenges to overcome daily, so we rely on our inter-team communication to plan and delivery efficiently. We often work on very tight deadlinesto fulfil clients ad hoc requirements.Whilst continually striving to provide ongoing excellence to our existing customer base, we are equally committed to constantly seek opportunities in new markets.The Role:We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a small team.This is a great opportunity for the right person to broaden their knowledge of end-to-end global distribution so priority will be given to candidates with previous experience in global distribution/supply chain.The successful candidate must be able to work independently and assess the workload daily in order to maximise efficiency and meet specific clients needs and prioritise accordingly.They will also have an eagerness to contribute to the growth of the business.More specifically:* Create product sales lists to form new orders and distribute to clients* Manipulate suppliers data to create documents with broader application, both for internal and external distribution* Create shipping manifests* Provide our warehouses with detailed packing instructions to customers specifications* End of month government reporting for UK/EU and international shipping* Produce import/export documents, proforma invoices, etc...* Process orders using clients online platforms* Generate and submit sales invoices in different currencies* Assist the General Manager managing our global logistics partners and movement of goods worldwide.Skills* Previous experience in logistics/distribution/supply chain desirable but not essential.* An excellent knowledge of Excel, i.e.:vlookup, formulas, data transfer and processing, etc… (a short proficiency test will be required as part of the interview process)* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in order to liaise with our warehouses and client base worldwide in an equally effective manner* An interest in accounting and finance would be a benefit* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy* Must be WINDOWS and IT proficient* be able to contribute to the smooth running of the office on a day to day basis with a "no job too big or small" approachIf this role is of intrest to you and you match the experience needed please call me Kevin Murray
