Are you a motivated Planning Lawyer looking for a locum position within an esteemed local authority Sellick Partnership are working closely with a award-winning council in Central London to assist them with adding quality staff to their reputable Legaldepartment. The position would be ideally suited to an experienced Planning Lawyer who is confident acting with minimal supervision, albeit you will still be well supported in your role. Our client will consider applicants who have worked in-house for a localauthority, or who have dealt with local authorities from a private practice angle. This is a long-term maternity cover locum contract from January 2024, and is a full-time position for 36 hours over 5 days per week. A hybrid working policy is in place, withoffice attendance required once a week, and committee attendance required once every three weeks. Responsibilities can include all or some of the following, depending on your experience: * Complex s106 * Planning and higways advice * Policy work * Committees* Inquiries * Appeals * Judicial review This role will bring challenge, autonomy, opportunity and is highly rewarding.
