Our Central London client is seeking a Loan Documentation Officer to join their Credit Admin team as soon as possible on a permanent basis with a salary of £35,000 on offer. This role comes with a great perks package including private healthcare, a generous pension and 27 days holiday plus bank holidays too.What does the role entailYour role as the Loan Documentation Officer will be working as part of the Credit Admin team on the Legal side of things for all lending products with the majority being for commercial mortgages. Your role will be the last part of the lending process where you will undertake all required legal checks, documentation checks and ensure all legal contracts are issued and are correct first time, covering end-to-end management of the process following credit approval through to completion and issuing of lending. As Loan Documentation Officer you will liaise with a number of departments in the bank as well as to oversee queries raised by the Bank’s solicitors and valuers, resolving problems and referring or escalating issues to the Head of Credit and the Risk team.What skills will you haveThe ideal candidate for this will have a background within banking or financial services but chiefly commercial lending to SME businesses and will have covered legal documentation and checks for mortgages and commercial conveyancing and lending.
