Job Description

The LNG Market Risk Lead role is a key control position within the Commodity Risk business; you will be accountable for providing deep business understanding on risk measurement and control through development and maintenance of robust risk measurement models,analysis of market conditions and trading positions, and interpretation and improvement of risk and control policies and procedures.Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Owning and driving modernisation of MVaR and stress analysis and reporting
  • Improving and developing market risk measurement models and methodologies
  • Delivering timely and insightful reporting and analytics that provide insight into market risks
  • Providing market risk input into new business activity
  • Providing constructive challenge to trading activity and ensure it is aligned to intended trading strategy
To be considered for this role it is absolutely essential you have very strong physical commodity product knowledge (preferably LNG), ideally gained within an Oil and Gas trading business. Demonstrable Market Risk experience is also essential.
