Job Description

Linux/Azure ConsultantLocation: Milton Keynes/Godalming/London (Client Site)Triad Group Plc are currently providing services to a major Central Government department and are looking for an experienced Linux Administrator with Azure cloud experience to join an existing production operations team.Triad has 2 base offices, Milton Keynes, and Godalming; however, you will be working on Client sites predominantly in the London area.All candidates require the following base skills in an operations setting:

  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM).
  • RHEL / Centos.
  • Use of Source Control repositories specifically Git and Gerrit.
  • Use of Shell Scripting, specifically
  • Agile (Scrum / Kanban).
  • Familiarity with ticket management, Atlassian Suite (Confluence, Jira) and ServiceNow.
    • In addition to the above, a selection of the following skills is required:Administration of:
  • Hosting and Virtualisation - Azure and VMWare Hosting.
  • Directory Services - Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
  • Protocols - TCP/IP, HTTP/S, FTP/S, SMTP, IMAP, LDAP, DNS, NTP.
    • Proficiency in:
  • Languages - Python, Perl, Groovy, Ruby.
  • Provisioning and Templating - YAML, XML.
    • Exposure to:
  • Databases - PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  • Languages -
  • Repositories - Pulp, Artifactory.
  • Automation -
  • Monitoring - ELK Stack.
