Job Description

LIFEGUARDS - FREE Training provided!My client, a 5* Leisure Management company operating high-end luxury residential developments across London is now recruiting for Lifeguards in the Vauxhall, South West London location! The role of a Lifeguard is to supervise the pool and carry out rescuesas required. You will also assist in managing the daily operation of the leisure facility, that sit within the private estate. The beautiful leisure facility hosts a Gym with unrivalled top of the range equipment, a stunning Swimming Pool with a Sauna/ Spa,an extensive Group Exercise programme, Personal Training, Beauty Therapy rooms, plus areas for relaxation.As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for the delivery of the highest levels of customer service to all residents, guests and external contractors at the development and will be the first and main point of contact for all queries within the Club. Yourkey day-to-day duties involve ensuring all pool users are safe and in a welcoming environment, adhering to the health and safety procedures of the Club, general poolside cleaning and reporting into the Duty Manager. The job is a blend of operational duties,lifeguarding and front of house. This unique hybrid position of Lifeguard/Front of House offers great career progression into leisure management, with further training opportunities available such as Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.We are recruiting for this job on various contract lengths: 16hr, 24hr, 32hr and 40hour contracts available.Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a similar role working in a 5* environment
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required
  • First Aid and/or RLSS Emergency Responder qualified is desirable, training can be provided if required
  • Be adaptable and able to work well in a team
This role will require a mixture of shifts including early, mid and late with a rotation on weekends.This is a great role for someone who is passionate about customer service and safety, is a confident swimmer looking to become a qualified lifeguard, or someone who is already qualified and is looking to work in a 5* luxury environment.
