Job Description

LEVEL 3 Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant - Harrow

We are currently recruiting a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistants to work in a nursery class with a child with SEND. The role will be on a full-time basis from January until July 2024 and the successful candidate must be able to commit for the durationof the whole academic year. school based in Newham on a part-time or full-time basis,You will be supporting a child with different SEND needs including Autism and ADHD. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but not essential and we are looking for individuals that are dedicated to supporting children of different agegroups and can adapt.The school is a lovely SEND school with a very experienced and supportive team.Job Responsibilities
  • Support children with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Assist with personal care
  • Supporting pupils though out the school day
  • Engageing with pupils at all time within the classroom and on break times

Job Requirements
  • Experience supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties or disabilities is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively
  • Good knowledge of EYFS and SEN framework
  • Level 3 qualification or above
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or willing to apply for a new one.
  • Available 3-5 days a week and able to commit to at least 6 months
