About the role The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut and its a very important part of the business This lovely bunch supports all other Revolut teams, helping us achieve our goals each and every day. Theyre special, theyre strong-willed, and they work in a lot of different areas (which isnt that common for an in-house role, we know, but theyre just thatgood) From structuring credit programmes to launching into new territories, the Legal team does it all! Are you a problem solver This ones for you! Were looking for a Legal Counsel whos a crypto expert and will advise Revolut on compliance and legal issues around our products. An individual who excels as a leader but dares to undertake a hands-on role whenneeded. Excited to join We cant wait to have you on board What youll be doing

• Delivering high-quality advice on regulatory legal issues related to the structuring and offering of innovative crypto products
• Helping to manage regulatory licensing applications and responding to regulatory requests
• Working towards tight deadlines to provide timely advice and manage competing priorities
• Identifying legal risks and mitigating them by providing actionable and business-focused advice
• Drafting customer-facing legal documents for products, such as Terms & Conditions
• Liaising with specialist external counsel where appropriate, defining the scope of instruction to minimise costs and ensure advice received is fit for purpose
• Supporting with compliance review processes
• Proactively monitoring changes to regulatory requirements

What youll need

• 3-5 years of PQE Experience
• Leading law firm credentials or previous experience working in fintech
• Experience advising on financial regulation, focusing on crypto
• Expertise in relevant financial regulations and advising clients in MiFID II, PSD II, Electronic Money Directive, and 5AMLD Directive
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset
• Confidence making decisions where theres ambiguity or incomplete information
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• The ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate between multiple jurisdictions
