Lecturer in Multi Skills (Specialist Provision)Full-time: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Salary: £23,498 to £28,910 per annum Plus Benefits: Defined Benefit Pension, Employee Assistance Programme, Free Car Parking, Subsidised Refectory and onsiteGym Are you an enthusiastic individual with a passion for teaching and learning Central Bedfordshire College is looking for Lecturer in Independent Living to join our new Specialist Hub.As a lecturer you will have the ability to manage a diverse range oflearners and use interactive methods in the classroom. Planning and preparation of schemes of work, lesson plans and the continual assessment of learner work is a significant part of this role. This involves managing the quality of the course through implementationof robust internal verification schedules. Communicating effectively and working as a part of a wider team is a key part of this position. Experience in working with young people who are NEET, have Special Educational Needs and specifically Social, Emotionaland Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) is essential to this role.Key person specifiucation Requirements Degree level qualification in relevant subject area Level 2 qualification in maths & English Up to date industry standard vocational skillsCentral to the workyou do will be enabling students to reach their full potential that equips them to progress into work, higher education or apprenticeships.
