We are delighted to be working for a very well-known, retail property provider who are in search of an experienced Leasing Manager who has in-depth understanding of the retail, F&B and leisure market.Based out of the London office and supporting the Reading site, this is an exciting and unique opportunity for someone to bring their expertise and knowledge of property trends, different communities and sustainability to support a super successful area - new ideas and a true passion for the role is paramount.Do you have an entrepreneurial flair and are able to present, negotiate and communicate at every level Can you put your skills into practice in a way that will introduce exciting new business strategies with a view to develop your objections whilst workingclosely with the wider leasing, centre and commercialisation teamsWhat you will be doing

• Reporting directly to the Senior Leasing Manager, you will maximise financial performance and value creation on an allocated shopping centre, whilst being adaptable to work across other assets as required
• Work collaboratively with the asset management team to input into the assets business plan by defining a clear leasing strategy and asset vision
• Deliver the business plan on time through new lettings, re-gears, renewals and rent reviews including negotiating heads of terms through to lease execution and completion
• Use the CRM to maintain and increase knowledge of brands and to share information across the teams
• Build long terms customer relationships with brands, introduce new and understand their business strategy and manage underperforming brands
• Provide accurate forecasts in line with business strategies with the ability to present internally to joint venture partners and other key stakeholders
• Form and manage relationships with third party consultants, including external agencies and letting consultants to keep abreast of the market and be aware of new brands entering the market
• Work with in-house communications team to promote new lettings and the scheme through B2B marketing
• Work closely with the Retail Design and Delivery Manager to ensure brands are knowledgeable about our processes and procedures for best-in-class design

The ideal person

• MRICS qualification is desirable
• Degree level education or experience to reflect
• In-depth understanding of the retail, F&B and leisure market
• Genuine interest and understanding of retail and general property trends, communities, sustainability and urban developments
• Good knowledge of leasing, commercial terms and valuations principles
• Understanding of landlord and tenant law, including lease renewals, and rent reviews
• Track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships
• A high achiever that can take ownership of complex projects
• Confident meeting and presenting to internal and external stakeholders
