In this role, you will be working exclusively withina Year 2 class and providing tailored support to children who have been identified as having additional needs.Learning Support Assistant - Provide general classroom support for pupils in Year 2 with SENDWork with small groups of children tosupport their learning and deliver set interventions as required.Deliver tailored 1:1 or 1:2 sessions with children to help them progress through their personalised programmes of study.Contribute to the wider life of the school.Encourage and promote the inclusionand acceptance of all children.Learning Support Assistant - Job Requirements:Minimum of a 2:1 Honours degree with strong A-Level and GCSE grades.Kind, friendly and understanding with the ability to act on own initiative.Good understanding of how to supportchildren with additional needs including SEND and EAL.Has experience of supporting children with ASC and Speech, Language and Communication needs.Can form positive and caring relationships with children which motivates them to learn, grow and be confident.Agood team player who is willing to commit time and enthusiasm to the schools wider team.Motivated, passionate and reflective about your work.This Learning Support Assistant role is an excellent opportunity for you to join a friendly, supportive and positiveschool community.
