  • We are looking for experienced, driven, and energetic individuals who are looking to make an impact as a Learning Support Assistant.
  • The successful candidates will have a passion for education and ideally be looking to go on to complete their teaching qualifications.
  • The ideal candidate would have strong behaviour management skills, and experience of working alongside students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) would be a benefit.
  • As an SEMH/SEND Teaching Assistant you will be joining a strong and supportive student support department. You will be required to work closely supporting students with varying SEND, so being adaptable is very important.
The role:
  • Provide supports to students with additional needs, 1:1 tuition or to small groups of students with varying abilities.
  • You will be encouraging and supporting individual pupils to reach their full potential whilst demonstrating a creative and determined attitude that will help motivate students
  • You will be directly supporting the students, as well as helping to organise the teaching and learning resources available to students and staff.
The right applicant for this Learning Support Assistant position will:
  • Have experience of working as a teaching assistant (desired)
  • Have an interest in the education sector
  • SEND experience (Desired)
  • A recent graduate (graduated within last 2 years)
  • Ability to engage with and inspire young learners.
