Job Description

Anglo American is looking for an experienced PMO specialist contractor for a 6-8 contract roleThe purpose of this role is to provide project management expertise and PMO support to Managers and Teams across the Learning Project Portfolio in support of the delivery of the Learning components of the HR 5 Year PlanPlease apply if the below is of interest to you, and matches your career experience.Our strategy is to secure, develop and operate a portfolio of high quality and long life resource assets, from which we will deliver leading shareholder returns. It requires knowledge of the overall system and focuses on the direct application and improvement of systems.Application/EnergyConsistently displays a positive and engaged manner • Motivated, consistently works to best of ability to meet performance criteria • Strives to do things significantly betterKnowledgeKnowledge of: • Learning Technologies and Ecosystems (LMS, LCMS, LXP, LRSetc) • Learning theories and instructional design models, such as, but not exclusive to, ADDIE • Understand and apply Learning Design Frameworks (Skills Mapping, Curriculum, Development, Delivery & Measurement) to define appropriate learning & performance support solutions considering the full range of Workplace (70%), Social-Peer(20%) and formal (10%) learning opportunities • Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning • Comprehend complex technical topics and specialised informationTechnical Skills •Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision • Experience of managing a PMO office • Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project with project teams of 2 to 15 people • Experience of project management using AGILE or PRINCE2 methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large sized projects • Strong skills in creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies • Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment • Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS project • Experience of Programme and project level financial management • Experience of defining and delivering benefits realisation for projects and programme • Training and coaching of Project Managers and PMO staff • Knowledgeable and experienced in efficient Change Management methodsJanuary 2021 Start
