Job Description

A large Financial Services firm is looking to hire an Enterprise Architecture Lead/Lead Solutions Architect to manage their team. In this position you would be helping to manage Enterprise Architecture (EA) practice, set Architecture vision for the organisationthat aligns with the business strategy and defining/owning/managing the realisation of the Digital and Technology Solutions Strategy. Some responsibilities would be;

  • Establishing an Architectural Design Authority and Technology Operating Model against a skills capability assessment to ensure the whole (from a user and corporate level) is far greater than the sum of the parts, whilst also minimising any disruption tousers.
  • Migrating all applications and services from the four datacentres to cloud - providing a more cost-effective, resilient-by-nature, secure, evergreen, reliable and elastic hosting solution.
  • Develop technical aspects of Digital Technology Solutions strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals and discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
  • Operate as, and is recognised as strategic technology leader within the business, providing thought leadership at executive and senior levels across the organisation
Therefore, they are looking for someone who has some of the following skills/experience;
  • Experience in establishing an Enterprise Architecture Operating model - covering Business Architecture, Capability Mapping, and benefits realisation.
  • Digital technologies in areas like API, integration, microservices, cloud, big data, analytics, security, and full stack.
  • Experience delivering technology and digital transformations with an Enterprise Architecture perspective whilst running and facilitating architecture governance across the various transformation programmes.
  • Experience driving architectural decision making, defining enterprise roadmaps across technology and business portfolios
