Job Description

Lead JavaScript Engineer | React | Node.JS | AWS | London | Remote | £110,000 + 20% BonusSimply Smart TVA well-known TV broadcasting company who have over 70 TV & Radio channels are looking for a Lead JavaScript Engineer skilled in Node, React and AWS to join them and build scalable Cloud Services and fantastic User Interfaces.You will be joining and leading a diverse, cross functional team who all share a passion and obsession for all things tech.The goal is for you to:

  • Create a fantastic user experience for the million of users that use their platform.
  • Support with maintaining highly scalable Microservices, there to support millions of requests every day.
  • Take ownership of maintaining the excellent Unite, System and integration tests.
  • Have an obsession to detail in order to create amazing User Interfaces and/or Cloud Services.
Ideally you will have:
  • A Focus on Front-end/UI JavaScript technologies - React, Node.js and TypeScript
  • Experience leading a cross functional team as well as experience running stand-ups and sprints.
  • Champion good testing practices following TDD or doing unit testing, pairing/code-reviews.
  • Worked in an Agile environment running stand-ups and sprints.
  • An Architectural approach.
  • Good stakeholder communication
  • A desire to work on new features supporting the backend and product team.
