They are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to grow with the companys expansion.The Company places a very high priority on having a fun and inclusive culture.THE ROLE: As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be pivotal in the process driving the technical vision within the team and transforming the data from legacy, as well as mentoring more junior members of the team. As a Lead data engineer, it will be imperative for you tohave good communication and collaborative working abilities to ensure the smooth workings of the team, and the ability to report into stakeholders.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The ideal Lead Data Engineer will have:* Prior experience as a Data Engineer with leadership responsibilities* Extensive commercial experience working with legacy data* Strong experience working with Azure and/or AWS* High Proficiency working with Python and SQL with an ability to code from scratch * Strong communication skillsTHE BENEFITS: The successful Lead Data Engineer will receive a salary, dependent on experience between £70,000 and £75,000k.
