Job Description

Interim Lead CommissionerLocation: London, hybridLength: 3-6 months initiallyIR35: InsideAn opportunity has arisen with one of our local government clients for an interim Lead Commissioner.Responsibilities and key experience required of the interim Lead Commissioner include:

  • Ability to manage and lead a team of Commissioners
  • Have an understanding of BCF and older peoples services
  • Experience in Fair Cost of Care managing providers
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to, public health, education, social care, NHS, voluntary sectors and schools
  • Demonstrable subject matter expertise of Commissioning Older Peoples services
  • Previous experience of working within a local government or health organisation
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work to tight timescales
  • Superb oral and written communication skills and outstanding organisational skills
