Job Description

Lead Business Analyst-Inside IR35Our cleients Digital Services Team are changing the way they deliver their service and are reflecting the new ways of working with the use of Digital, Data and Technology. Their Digital Services department require a Business Analyst with at least 5 yearsexperience for a 12 month contract to work on a roadmap of business and IT programmes and projects such as ERP, digital device rollout and a social care system review. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, comfortable dealing with business stakeholdersand suppliers at all levels, with experience as a BA through all phases of a project from business case to user and operational early life support. Experience leading more junior BAs. BA with at least 5 years experience across business and IT for both Agileand Waterfall projects. Excellent skills in leading workshops, writing business cases, eliciting requirements and documenting as functional and non-functional, user stories, data diagrams and dictionaries, process maps. Experience of large scale programmes,CRM, ERP, digital, data projects is desirable.

  4. Experience of successfully implementing plans and projects to time and budget
  5. Ability to effectively plan and manage budgets and resources
  6. Demonstrates a good understanding of the political structure and role of elected members
  7. Ability to work collaboratively both with own service and across other services
  8. Experience (at least 5 years) of working as a Business Analyst or User Researcher.
  9. Demonstrable experience of working and applying Agile methodology including experience of working with business systems and end to end delivery of projects using a range of methods including Sprint, Waterfall etc.
  10. Experience of gathering and writing business and user requirements including user journeys, wireframes to articulate and solve complex problems.
  11. Good understanding of Lean Systems Thinking and process review and its ability to deliver effective digital, data and technology outcomes for organisations and users.
