Job Description

Main Purpose:A Lead Business Analyst is required to join the Change Team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The Change Team is responsible for co-ordinating, monitoring and executing a clearly defined Change Programme that works in alignment with the strategic goals andobjectives of the business. Must have demonstrable experience of working as a Lead or Senior Business Analyst in the London Insurance market.Main Responsibilities:Reporting into the Head of Change this role will perform a combination of hands-on delivery with the line management of a team of Business Analysts. Working across the project lifecycle, deploying a wide range of tools and techniques, and building strong stakeholderrelationships being a trusted advisor to the business and be working closely with the business to define future strategy and change initiatives. The main duties of this role will be:

  • Plan, manage and investigate business situation analysis where there is significant ambiguity and complexity.
  • Recruit, train and employ high-calibre employees within budget, headcount levels and temporary resource requirements
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating team modelling activities and for ensuring the quality of their work
  • Plan and drive scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives.
  • You will recognise opportunities for the business from organisational and technological change and define change initiatives that will exploit such opportunities. Youll ensure that business benefits are clearly defined, appropriately quantified and aremanaged through to realisation across the change portfolio
  • Negotiate with stakeholders to manage competing priorities and conflicts. Establishes requirements baselines.
  • Identify the communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups.
  • Act as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
  • You will look across the Change Portfolio, recognising cross project dependencies ensuring these are appropriately managed
