Lead Analyst (BI, Customer Analytics, Marketing, London)About Our ClientThe client are a well-known and extremely well respected brand in their industry and are the clear market leader in the UK. This role presents a great opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking for a brand with great culture and exceptional product.Reporting into the VP of Marketing, you will play a central role in supporting data-driven strategy, marketing & commercial decisions at Board level and with the team.This role comes with a wide remit to lead:-Analytics strategy & development: Lead the development of Customer analytics, working with internal Data specialists to define a roadmap for more sophisticated analysis, predictive modelling and data-Delivery of key customer Insight: to the Senior management team, Product leads and Marketing Group-Continuing to develop our Attribution & LTV models-Looker BI: You will lead & manage our Looker BI reporting tool. There has been a significant investment in training across the team and in development of a series of dashboards & reports, which help all members of the team self-serve daily and hourly insight. You are the go-to person for support on Looker, to Quality check outputs and to help create new reports as needed-Marketing & CRM Performance measurement: Jointly lead (along with the Head of CRM) a bi-monthly Marketing and CRM activity review, presenting to all the commercial and marketing group. This covers major initiatives, launches, CRM campaigns etc.-Data & Analytics stack: Oversee the management of a full data analytics & technology toolkit. Youll lead best in class solutions to help us gather, store, process, analyse and share through the business-Team leader & collaborator, particularly with CRM & Marketing heads: Youll work in close collaboration with our VP of Marketing, CFO, Search and Digital marketing specialists to develop customer-centric strategies that deliver against sales and profitability targets. Youll heavily support in setting strategies for pricing/promotions, product and marketing-Make the business case to build the Data & Analytics functionAs value to the business and ROI is proven, we are open to expanding the analytics team.Requirements:-Skilled Analyst with hands on experience of BI & Reporting tools - ideally within digital product, marketing and/or trade (more than one not essential, but desirable) with 5+ years experience-Highly numerate, ideally with a bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Maths, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar-Regular & strong user of SQL, Python; Understanding of, and practical use of, Python, R , SQL and/or similar programming language-Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills are essential, for the manipulation of and sharing of insights/data to the team. Operates on the Google sheets/slides/Docs /Gmail environment-Experience with managing data in a data warehouse, including identification of data quality issues and data structure improvements-Fast learner or expertise of using BI tools - particularly Looker (Tableau and other similar drag & drop tools are also a positive)-Campaign measurement experience : track record of measuring large seasonal marketing campaigns a plus; understanding the importance of seasonal bias and time periods will be key to this role-Experience with the Google & Amazon tech stack a major positive - especially Google Analytics , Google BigQuery and Amazon AWS-Bonus points for experience of machine learning and modelling techniques.Sound like you Apply now or contact me at with your CV for more info.
