Job Description

Description of Business LineOur LBO teams are specifically focussed on the origination and execution of Financial Sponsor backed deals while working with our broader Leveraged Finance, Sponsor and Sector coverage teams. We have strong connections with the leading international Large Cap houses and are looking for a No2 in the team who can assist in maintaining these relationships, originating new deals while the rest of team are executing transactions, as well as leading theexecution on their own deals. While the team is sector agnostic, as a Bank we are particularly strong in the areas of: Energy Transition, Healthcare, Business Services, Transport and Luxury Goods. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take extra responsibility and make a real impact where you will be expected to manage in the absence of the team lead and have freedom to really develop their own network and work on a wide variety ofassets. Key Responsibilities

  • To originate debt financing and advisory mandates within the LBP sector, specifically focussing on the UK, The Netherlands and Scandinavia for Leveraged Loans and High Yield Bonds
  • Develop and maintain the teams client base in line with the Banks strategy and priorities
  • Contribute to the effective and responsible execution of mandates
  • Assist with the development of the product offering we can provide to clients
  • Represent the LBO team in internal dialogues to provide best-in-class advice to the client base
Profile requiredExperience / Competencies Required
  • Detailed understanding of Capital Markets and Loan Financing, the dynamics of related instruments, including credit and rates derivatives to propose relevant financing solutions
  • At least 1 years experience operating as a Director with a demonstrable track record of originating and executing LBO deals
  • Strong client network within the leading UK and International PE houses operating in the large-cap arena
  • Pro-active individual who wants to develop their own network and make an impact within an organisation to take their career to the next level
  • Highly ethical in approach, with an ability to prioritise client needs within the rules / guidelines of the industry along with SGs own risk and behavioural parameters
