Job Description

Badenoch + Clark are proud to be partnering with a Government organisation based in Canary Wharf to recruit an L&D Business Partner on a permanent basis. If you have L&D experience and have the skills to engage in a true business partner role where youwill advise the business on blended learning approaches then please do get in touch.As Learning and Development (L&D) partner, youll be aligned to specific departmental areas.You will partner to support the service by creating and delivering effective group and individual learning interventions and programmes. Youll work across all aspects of L&D in collaboration with the wider L&D and HR and organisational development (HR & OD) partners. You will develop effective working relationships where you will influence and challenge partnering learning leads and seniorleaders across the service.The key responsibilities will include creating, curating, tailoring and delivering content;coaching; mentoring, facilitation; presenting; and consistently bringing new ideas andcreativity to the L&D team.This is a true partnering role, which often will require a 1 to 1 approach to understandingorganisational requirements and then working in partnership with your HR colleagues and linemanagement to deliver the most appropriate solution.how well measure your success* the service has the people capability and talent to meet our commitments and future goals* successful delivery of blended learning programmes that meet the needs of the service* building trusted partnering relationships with key stakeholders* ROI/ROE for learning programmes demonstrates value* best in class L&D programmes in place* delivery of your own objectives and service level agreements (SLAs)* influencing and challenging senior leaders in different areas of the service to developblended learning solutions that will drive service performance, embed the values and enableour people to be the best they can be* aligning with the organisations learning leads within the practice groups to ensurelearning is shared across the service in a way that meets current and future operationaldemands* designing learning programmes ensuring a blended approach is used and that they reflectthe 70:20:10 approach to learning* managing multiple and complex projects and budgets and deliver to the brief providedlearning and development partner - Oct 2021 page 2* working collaboratively with HR & OD partners to support the successfulimplementation of learning projects* managing external partnerships including working with external suppliers tobuild best in class L&D products and services* working with the service to understand the customer journey and casework in order to buildrelevant content and delivery platforms* aligning development strategies with best L&D industry thinking and practice* using relevant MI to inform decisions* deploying social learning strategies to ensure learning is a shared experience, buildinglearning communities* designing and managing blended learning programmes and apprenticeships* delivering content face to face in person or remotely via different platforms when appropriate* working with e-learning specialists to create digital content - writing compelling content for topics you area subject matter expert for* working with our people hub team to deliver administrative requirements* promoting and helping to build an inclusive working environment through the delivery of inclusion andwellbeing learning initiatives* some UK travel may be requiredExperience* CIPD qualified or equivalent relevant experience and the ability to demonstrate the level of skills and knowledge required for the role* a coaching qualification and practical experience coaching leaders internally, as well asproviding 360 feedback* proven experience of creating highly engaging and innovative blended learning programmesfor managers and leaders* working collaboratively with internal and external subject matter experts to design effective learning programmes that meet identified business needs and deliver cultural change* creative and innovative with a passion for generating new ideas and challenging the statusquo* being solutions oriented, persistent and determined* working in an efficient and resilient manner and taking personal accountability for highstandards of delivery* having strong influencing, facilitation, coaching and verbal as well as written communication skills* proven project management experience with the ability to scope, plan, implement andevaluate L&D interventions effectively* understanding and applying behavioural economics and neuro psychology* accredited in psychometric toolsHow to applyPlease apply online today or alternatively contact Kerri Walkey on for more information.
