Job Description

TITLE - CLIENT ONBOARDING SPECIALIST/KYC ANALYSTLOCATION - CENTRAL LONODN CONTRACT - 3 MONTHS INDUSTRY - FINANCIAL SERVICES PAY - £150-200 PER DAY We are looking for a client onboarding specialist/KYC analyst to join a French multinational universal bank and financial services holding company. You will be acting as the central point of contact for both established and new clients account inquiries withInvestment Banks and large fund managers. Analyst will liaise directly with the client to ensure their accounts have been set up and ready to trade on internal operational platforms. Requirements to liaise with internal counterparts such as Legal, Operations,Compliance and Credit Risk. This role requires someone with strong organizational and communication skills as well as knowledge of Investment Banking products and services.Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for onboarding various clients from different organizational types and locations
  • Liaising with the client, providing support and guidance throughout the documentation completion process to ensure quality and completeness
  • Coordinate with Sales and the Business to prioritize account requests and communicate with internal stakeholders
  • Provide onboarding status updates to Sales teams, the Business and Client
  • Monitor duration, advise clients and internal stakeholders on emerging issues, actively troubleshoot problems and collaborate across the firm to unblock barriers
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Sales Support, Compliance, KYC Controls, Audit & Risk
  • Job Requirements:
  • Solid experience in the Banking/Finance industry in a client on boarding/KYC environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the banking industry
  • Prime Brokerage experience
  • Degree in finance or economics is preferred
  • KYC policy knowledge with the appetite to keep up to date with all regulatory changes.
  • Able to cope well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Eye for detail and willingness to question current state practices
  • Ability to apply regulatory guidance to review process in absence of written policy
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning and follow-up skills; ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, consultants, technical experts across the whole department and business users .
  • Knowledge in the industry regulations is preferred e.g. Dodd Frank, EMIR and FATCA
  • Excellent communication skill in English is an advantage
  • Flexibility, adaptable, ability to manage competing demands
  • Resilience to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Confident and strong client service focus when dealing with internal and external clients
  • A control mindset and a solid understanding of regulations and associated risks
  • Understanding and adherence to Compliance and Regulatory influences within the onboarding process
