Job Description

A Global Investment Bank are currently looking for a number of KYC Analysts to join in new contract roles until the end of 2022 (8/9 month contracts), the role is hybrid working with the office based in the City of London, the daily rate for the roles areup to £320 per day via an Umbrella company.Summary

  • Member of a Global team with physical presence in London, Paris, New York and Hong Kong. Core Mission is: To consistently deliver an outstanding contribution to the banksglobal Onboarding process, through the pursuit of Operational Excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesOnboarding with focus on Periodic Reviews
  • Provision of Regulatory Onboarding solution, focused on business-as usual, pre-trade elements, across:
  • KYC
  • Dodd Frank
  • EMIR
  • FATCA/AEOI
Operational Integrity
  • Ensuring service delivery is balanced with robust operational integrity, managing core Onboarding related life-cycle issues, including:
  • Periodic KYC Review;
  • Delivery of associated regulatory remediation topics;
  • Managing all necessary portfolio and Relationship Management controls;
  • Implementation of Filiere Tiers/FS-driven initiatives;
  • Rolling programme of wider continuous improvement initiatives, to enhance efficiency and integrity.
Onboarding Knowledge
  • Ensuring effective delivery of the banksOnboarding obligations, as well as developing extensive practical and market knowledge:
  • Maximising adoption of Onboarding best-practices through constant interaction with clients, peers and industry bodies;
  • Establishing and maintaining strong knowledge of regional Onboarding practices and regulatory requirements;
  • Representation in all relevant regulatory adherence meetings and committees.
Project Management
  • Manage and deliver a variety of projects related to Regulatory Development and Continuous Improvement of the core service offering, making effective use of Lean and Agile project methodology, where appropriate to the target solution.
Experience Required:Minimum 3-5 years experience in KYC Onboarding and/or remediation in a financial services industry or regulatory environment.DesirableExperience dealing with broad range of counter-parties, particularly financial institution clients, asset managers, insurance companies and hedge funds.Skills & Knowledge RequirementsPractical experience with the following:
  • Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
  • Enhanced Due Diligence
  • Adverse Information
  • Remediation/Review
Desirable
  • Knowledge of other Regulatory Onboarding processes, across Dodd Frank, EMIR, FATCA, AEOI, KYC and Prime Brokerage.
