Exciting opportunity for a KYC Analyst to join this global Energy company. This includes the creation of an already highly successful new Power Tradingdesk within the Energy Trading team as well as new ventures into various innovative solutions around the supply of Renewables including wind farms, electric vehicle charging, solar panel heating and battery storage. These innovative solutions provide opportunitiesfor exceptionally highly talented individuals to contribute to the success of this transition where you will be working with some of the best people in the industry working on new and ground-breaking initiatives utilising the very latest technology.Your Background Needs To Include:-5+ Years KYC in a mix of Client On-Boarding/Re-Reviews ideally within a Tier 1/ Tier 2 (Wholesale, Commercial/Corporate, Investment Banking) and/or large Commodities or Trading Houses (Oil, Energy) would be highly valuable.-Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy, quality and productivity-Strong understanding of different entity types and investigating complex ownership structures-Experience screening of entities/individuals and performing risk assessments-Strong understanding of PEPs, Financial Crime (FC) Adverse Media & Sanctions: risk assessment and impact in the risk profile & KYC requirements.Desirable:-Certifications in AML such as Certified AML Specialist (CAMS), ICA Diploma or Certificate in AML or equivalent-Fluency in either of the following languages: Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, RussianThis needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellentcommunication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
