Job Description

Junior Surveyor - Our Client: are a niche Property Investment company that have grown to hold hundreds of millions of pounds in property and assets country wide. Through their in-house management strategy, they are slowly becoming one of the UKs most prolific and sought after property company. They are looking for a Junior Surveyor to join their growing and vibrant team.The Role: involves but is not limited to:

  • Working alongside the Directors, Managers, and Colleagues to assist with all value enhancement opportunities.
  • Through site visits and inspections you will be responsible for identifying and documenting any maintenance issues and ensuring that they are completed.
  • Negotiating the end of lease process as part of a team with clients or tenants.
  • Being responsible for the process of any hand overs or dilapidations.
  • Being responsible for dealing with any rent reviews, lease renewals, and tenant applications and ensuring that tenants comply with these regulations.
  • Administering service charge expenditure.
  • Playing an active part in the assisting of property acquisitions and disposals.
    • The Person: would expect to have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role. It will be beneficial to have a RICS qualification and exposure to systems including QUBE, YARDI, or BLUEBOX. You would be expected to hit the ground running in regards to this role and have sound knowledge of the property industry.
