Job Description

Leading London lifestyle brand that supplies to thousands of retailers worldwide is looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join their growing team! This is a varied role that gives you excellent exposure to merchandising, supply chain and operations, so itperfect for someone with a hardworking, flexible nature who is wanting to get stuck in and progress!You will be part of a very supportive team where you will work directly with both the retailers and the suppliers, being an integral part in ensuring that orders are produced in the right quantities, on time and in full. You will be deadline driven, highlynumerate with an analytical nature. This is a data-heavy role, so you must have a keen attention to detail, solid excel skills and a positive, but calm, nature.This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, with great opportunities for development. If you are proactive in nature and enjoy a varied working day, get in touch!Duties as Junior Merchandiser will include:

  • Process and track wholesale orders, ensuring everything is running smoothly and on time
  • Complete key account administration on behalf of the account managers
  • Liaise with national and international suppliers regarding sample shipments, coordinating the timely dispatch of these as instructed by the key account managers
  • Liaise with third parties, including couriers and warehouses
  • Issue returns, refunds, and replacement orders in an efficient manner
  • Update stock availability and product information
  • Keep all stakeholder updating on order progression, foreseeing, and dealing with any issues ahead of time
  • Dealing, resolving, and recording any complaints in a friendly helpful manner
  • Checking customer forecasts, ensuring commitment is agreed and signed off before stock is ordered
  • Working directly and collaboratively with key retailers to ensure their stock needs are met, and products arrive on schedule and to requirements
  • Working with factories to provide accurate labeling, optimising carton sizes, etc.
  • Update and monitor internal systems
  • Wider general administration and company support when needed
The successful Junior Merchandiser will have the following qualities:
  • 2+ years experience within merchandising, supply chain or sales support positions
  • Experience of working with factories in the Far East
  • Experience working with supermarkets/volume retailers would be ideal
  • Highly analytical and data driven, with first class organisational skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced role
  • An excellent communicator at all levels, both written and verbally, with the ability to form solid relationships at all levels
  • A pro-active, flexible approach
  • Deadline driven, an excellent Flexible, happy to support different areas of the business
  • multi-tasker, and the ability to effectively prioritise workloads
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with solid Excel skills
  • A bubbly personality and a team player who is personable, hands on, and always willing to go the extra mile!
