Job Description

My client are a leading multi asset brokerage seeking to add to their FX Options execution team.With a global client base stretching across every continent, youll be working for one of the largest, private financial institutions in London.The FX and Bullion Options trader role is aimed at junior level, and with training, will be responsible for the risk management of an established G10 option book.Responsibilities will include;

  • Trade within mandated limits. Risk and position sheet management and optimisation through London coverage hours
  • Promote and contribute to the growth of the FX Options desk
  • Daily Vol runs and market commentary for both internal and external clients
  • Identify potential for automation
  • Daily PnL reconciliation, identify and advise of any breaks
  • Monitor the post-trade and handle any client queries
  • Provide pricing and execution, technical support & analysis to clients as required.
  • Managing option expiries at various cuts
Skills
  • A good understanding of the Financial Markets, in particular FX
  • Strong understanding of option products and the associated Greek risks for both vanilla and exotics
  • A data driven & analytical approach to improving internal processes and client experience
  • Strong mathematical & analytical mind-set
  • MS Excel proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bloomberg and/or Superderivatives as a data tool
We are looking for a minimum 2 years experience within an options trading environment with understanding of Greek risks for both vanilla and exotics.Your background doesnt need to come in a trading capacity, but youll need a good product understanding, The client is happy to cross train from other environments, ie Operations, Market Risk, etc.This offers a great opportunity to grow your experience and knowledge amongst an experienced team, offering broad coverage across all FX & Bullion areas.
