The BusinessA FinTech company established in 2019 with $5m funding and since launched their consumer product to market in early 2022 as a digital banking solution giving users more financial security and preferential exchange rates for spending outside their home country.This company also have a range of patented software solutions for the banking sector which they licence out to banks and other FinTechs.The JobYou will join the Team as a Front End Developer working closely with the CEO on understanding new client briefs and helping design user interfaces for new product and features.You will be supported by a Development Team of 20 (4 in frontend) based out of Malaga, Spain helping to use existing code, troubleshooting and designing new products and features. You will report into the CEO working alongside the management team of 5 inthe London office where you will be based.This position has come about due to existing clients looking to build more products and the senior management team are looking to increase the technical team in London to attend client meetings about new product ideas and design.The products you will work on are in relation to the digital wallet this company have built and adapting it for different user cases and applications making money transfer more secure, faster and cheaper.You will fly to Malaga once per quarter to meet the Development Team and build relations.During the initial 2-3 months this will be a predominantly office-based role whilst you learn about internal systems and what the role requires. Following that period, you can move to a hybrid working model of 2-3 days per week in the office.Candidate Requirements A recent graduate with knowledge of PHP or Symphony 1-2 years experience working in PHP or Symphony would replace the requirement for formal education Keen passion for designing web pages that users enjoy interacting with Interest in FinTech is a bonus but not required Looking to join an agile fast-growing start-up operating in the FinTech space led by a CEO with great industry experience and leading investors Excited by prospect of working closely with the CEO and attending client meetings to take part in working out new products and features Intermediate or fluent spoken Spanish is a bonus but not a pre-requisite
