Job Description

Junior Asset Manager - City of LondonOur client is an established, and award-winning lender that specialises in providing Bridging and Development Finance to their clients.This is a key role working alongside a wide range of departments, including external clients and third-party professionals. You will be the main point of contact for investors and borrowers, ensuring their projects are delivered on time, on budget and tothe quality specified. You will be responsible for construction drawdowns, managing individual loans and a wider portfolio. Therefore, this role requires someone who can take initiative, ownership, is solution driven and can be proactive.Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a point of contact for borrowers with queries surrounding their loan.
  • Reviewal of construction progress reports and organising drawdowns to borrowers
  • Analysing, managing, and tracking drawdowns
  • Progress site visits
  • Organising sales of units and security release at full repayment of the loan
  • Liaising and instructing professional advisers e.g., solicitors, monitoring surveyors and valuers
  • Investor/funder and internal reporting
  • Updating all financial models and spreadsheets
  • Receivership and recoveries work where required
  • Analysing loan ratios and sensitivity analysis
  • Reporting back on the status of individual loans you are managing to the Asset Management Team and making recommendations
  • Assisting with wider asset management and loan management when required
  • Assisting with statistical reporting for marketing materials, industry body figures and internal communications
Candidate:
  • At least 1 years’ experience within a similar role is essential*
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal reasoning
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel in addition to various internal and external programs and CRM
  • Excellent communication skills
