About the role Within Services and Propositions we support client projects and are predominantly focused on leveraging our core products and vision to resolve market challenges and capitalise on opportunities, and also provides strategic consulting servicesto our client ecosystem. Our clients are a broad range of financial services and financial technology clients from around the world, including Europe, North America and Africa. We work on engagements that require a wide range of skills; however, people inour team tend to specialise in one or more of the five core capabilities: 1. Business Strategy 2. Technology Strategy 3. Value Proposition Design 4. Target Operating Model 5. Strategy Implementation About you You will be a driven, forward looking individualthat is excited to support our clients (internal and external) designing and executing their vision and strategies. You will be able to quickly land in a new environment, adapt to the specific way of working and build strong rapport and relationships withkey stakeholders. You will continually identify opportunities to drive Motives business growth through existing and new client relationships. Essential skills and experience Ideally some previous experience working in financial services or/and the technologyindustry, e.g. working for relevant technology firm, financial institution or consultancy Basic understanding of the project lifecycle, and experience in delivering large scale transformational programs Familiarity with at least one of the five core Advisorycompetencies (business strategy, technology strategy, value proposition design, target operating model, strategy implementation) The ability to work on your own initiative and in many different and challenging environments Ability to manage, develop and createdeep client relationships Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of the latest technology trends and emerging vendors, how these are being deployed acrossthe industry and the impact they may have on Motive or our clients We are open to all academic backgrounds but a 2:1 university degree is desirable Desirable characteristics and role behaviours Proactive about your own learning Work in partnership with ourclients, not lecturing Adaptable to the client solution - there is no single silver bullet Be objective and data driven where possible Understand the balance between speed and due process / diligence
